The requirements for SIO 2010 are:

• Hakama, gi and obi.
• Iaito or shinken. Bokken will be accepted for ungraded competitors, as well as competitors with yonkyu or sankyu.

• For all other rules, please consult ZNKR's "The Regulations of Iaido Shiai and Shinpan", i.e. "The Yellow Book", and the "Zen Nippon Kendo Renmei Iai Manual", as well as information available from ZNKR.
